Some of you may remember hearing that Madeline and I were in the Nashville Shakespeare Festival's winter production of Twelfth Night, directed by Denice Hicks. What an incredible time we had with 8 shows a week for a total of 4 weeks! Madeline, well she's schooled in the theatre arts (what a surprise, hey?), and this was not her first Shakespeare play. She's put lots of work into her skill, and I'm sure all the practice she's had over the years had much to do with her earning the wonderful role as the character, Viola. I was fortunate to work under the music direction of Rollie Mains, who's original compositions were featured across the entire play. I was happy to be "the gravy" (Rollie's words) with my use of violin, mandolin, and guitar.
It was such a pleasure to work with the exceptional team, and we must give a special thank you to Denice Hicks for being such a wonderful director!
